Once your claim is registered with Us, we will shortly appoint a service engineer to get in touch with you and guide you to take your vehicle to the nearest authorized workshop.
The appointed service engineer will then visit the workshop and do an assessment of the vehicle, post confirmation of loss he will communicate the actual liability or the decision on the claim to you.

GENERAL EXCLUSIONS (Applicable to all types of vehicles/equipment)

The Company is not liable for and no indemnity will be provided in respect of any loss arising out of, caused by,occasioned by, attributable to or howsoever connected to

1. Any claim falling beyond the expiry date as shown in the Schedule or the completion of the kilometres/Hours as specified in the Schedule whichever is earlier.
2. Any damage that results from neglect of the periodic maintenance as specified by manufacturer or not
carried out at an authorized dealer/service centre of the manufacturer.
3. Any damage that results from hard driving, race, rally.
4. Any damage that results from operating methods other than those mentioned in the owner’s manual or use beyond the limitations as specified by manufacturer such as maximum load passenger capacity, engine speed and others.
5. Any damage that results from use of non-genuine parts, non-genuine oils, non-genuine coolants or accessories or other than those approved by the manufacturer.
6. Any accessories/attachments not supplied along with the vehicle as Original Equipment fitments.
7. Any damage that results from vehicle performance modifications not approved by the manufacturer.
8. Inconsequential aspects such as noises, vibrations, oil seepage and sensations that could not lead to dismal product function or performance of the Vehicle covered under the certificate.
9. Any damage that results from storage or transportation.
10. The loss under the certificate that is not in force at the time of claim due to any reason whatsoever.
11. Any claims for repair/replacement of parts covered under the Manufacturer’s Warranty Period.
12. Continued use of the vehicle covered in the certificate despite knowing

What are the steps that I should follow to keep my warranty benefits intact?

Is my warranty policy identical to my motor insurance policy?

No, Motor insurance and warranty are two different things.

What are common reasons of claim rejections and how to avoid mistakes during claims?

Vehicle maintenance services are not proper, either skipped or delayed. – Vehicle is repaired/serviced outside the OEM authorized workshops. – Negligence resulting in consequential loss (For example, in case of black smoke or oil leakage through any component and if the vehicle is driven in spite of warnings then there are high chances of other parts getting damaged) and such related losses are not covered.

Is periodic service like changing oil, filters etc. covered under this policy?

No, these are mandatory services which should be done by you to keep your car away from any potential failures.

My policy has an error and I need to rectify the same, whom do I contact to get it done?

There are two ways to get it done, however this needs to be done within 15 days from the date of issuance of the policy. First is to get in touch with the agency/dealership through whom you got this policy and secondly write an email to help.in@allianz.com

I am not satisfied with the claims decision and I need to escalate to the grievance officer

Grievance redressal is a fundamental right of every customer, you can write to Grievance Redressal Team at help.in@allianz.com

Is my policy transferable in case if I sell my vehicle to another buyer?

Yes, however the new owner needs to contact us to get the details changed on the policy. However only the unused portion of the warranty shall be transferred to the new customer.

Am I eligible for any privileges like hotel accommodation, or Roadside Assistance or Removal etc.?

No, this policy covers only breakdowns due to covered events of manufacturing defects.

Support for Parts Warranty or Assurance on Workmanship for the claims serviced by this policy?

All the prevailing norms by respective OEM’s shall be applicable and shall be facilitated by us.

When can I cancel this policy?

100% refund is applicable in case if the policy is canceled within 15 days of the issuance. This is called free look up period. Refund is applicable in case there is no claim made under this policy.
